Description

ACUiTY’s Premium Upper Rods are a great way to customize your ACUiTY shifter. Each upper rod features durable, rolled threads, an integral depth stop and 25mm of height adjustment range between the "Max" and "Min" markings. Two height options are available to allow you to achieve taller or lower shift knob heights than are permitted with the default upper rod that is included with each shifter*. See the supplied illustrations or bulleted list below for height comparisons. The titanium variants are available in 5 beautiful anodized finishes including 3 solid colors and 2 multi-color designs that are styled similarly to our titanium ESCO and POCO shift knobs. A stainless steel version is also available for those who prefer to retain the classic look of their ACUiTY shifter while benefitting from a taller knob position. All 11 Premium Upper Rod designs fit all shift knob height-adjustable ACUiTY shifters. Premium Upper Rods are sold individually.

Care Instructions

Oil and dirt that accumulate on the outside of this product will temporarily reduce the vibrance of the colors in its burnt finish. If you find your titanium looking a little lackluster, use a microfiber cloth and some household rubbing alcohol to wipe the outer surfaces down. This will remove oil and dirt deposited on the outer surfaces and will restore the original beauty of the finish. Avoid use when your hands are excessively rough or when you have abrasive materials on them (like sand, dirt, etc.), as this can prematurely wear down the burnt finish. Avoid use with rings or similar jewelry as it may scratch the finish. If the finish is ever damaged, ACUiTY may be able to refinish the knob at a much lower cost than replacing it; contact us for details.
